The use of jet boats allows hunters to access various spots along the rivers. The hunts focus on large bull moose and bears, with a 75% success rate over the past 20 years. Moose hunts yield an average moose size of 60 inches. Bear hunting is done in berry fields, fishing holes, or over moose carcasses. Bear sizes range from 7.5’ – 10’.

Hunters are flown into and out of the camp via Beaver floatplanes from Iliamna or Dillingham. The overall hunt is considered easy and suitable for anyone capable of getting in and out of a boat.

Base camps provide essential amenities and the option to spike camp for more adventurous hunting in hard-to-access areas, enhancing the chances of a successful hunt.

The cost for the 11-day, one on one hunt, is $36,500.

The costs include everything except tags, hunting licenses, and airfare. The Beaver floatplane flights for camp transfer are included, but additional flights are arranged separately. There are multiple options for taking your moose home, which should be discussed with Mike before the hunt.
