Alaska Silver Salmon Fishing is nothing less than spectacular. As well as being acrobatic these aerial Silver Salmon leap out of the water at will.   Consistently making catching them a thrill on fly rods or spinning gear. Located on Nushagak River our fishing lodge is in the prime location to get limits of Silver Salmon. Most importantly our boats and guides take you to where the silvers are coming up the river the heaviest.

Silver Salmon on the Nushagak River

The Nushagak River has all five species of salmon.  Such as (Chinook, Sockeye, Chum and Pinks) and of course the mighty Silver Salmon. Beginning in late July and ending in September over 100,000 silvers head upriver to their spawning grounds.  Nearly 112,000 silvers spawned in 2018 and ADFG expects even larger runs for 2019.  Also, the fisherman is allowed to keep five silvers per day with 10 in possession.

Bristol Bay Alaska

Located Just downriver from the village of Ekwok, Alaska.  Our location is very convenient for guests.  As well as Sitting on the bluff at Camp our wooden cabins are right next to the lodge which overlooks the Nushagak River.  Alaska Silver Salmon Fishing packages are all-inclusive once you arrive at camp.  In addition Cooked meals morning, noon and night, snacks as well as beverages provided. We set you up with all the gear you will need.  Which includes bait, freezer boxes, fish cleaning, and packaging for your fully guided fishing trip.

Alaska Silver Salmon Fishing License 

You will need at least a seven day non-resident Alaska fishing license from ADF&G. Also, Alaska Elite Outfitters sells all the necessary permits at the lodge.

Vacuum Sealers, as well as waxed freezer boxes, are also provided to all our clients to take home there catch.

     Fly fishing rainbow trout in Alaska is fantastic! Especially with our location on the Nushagak River which is close to the Mulchatna River. Therefore with large runs of Salmon, together with our Alaskan rainbows and Dolly Varden feasting on their eggs. As a result flesh and egg pattern flies are the hot tickets for big Rainbows some up to 30 inches.   Generally, our boats take you to excellent fly fishing or spin fishing water where these lunkers gorge themselves. While catching big Graying is a blast for all fisherman.  It usually is a significant bonus for a day away from picking limits Silver Salmon on your Alaska fishing trip!

Fly Fishing Rainbow Trout

When Fly Fishing Rainbow Trout we suggest you bring your own gear. Depending on your fly fishing experience bring 6, 7 or 8 wt flyrods and maybe a 3 or 4 weight for some topwater action for grayling. Bring an assortment of egg, flesh and streamer flies of various sizes. Alaska Fishing License

You will need an Alaska fishing license and a King Salmon stamp only if you are going to fish Kings. You can get them at any sporting goods store before coming, OR we do sell all necessary permits at the lodge.
